A cornerstone of the DDA’s plans is the introduction of the ‘Sasta Ghar’ housing scheme. This ambitious project is designed to provide affordable housing options for the city’s economically weaker sections (EWS) and low-income groups (LIG). In addition to the ‘Sasta Ghar’ scheme, the DDA has given the green light to the Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024. This new offering will provide a range of housing options to cater to different income levels and preferences. Furthermore, the DDA has approved an amnesty scheme for leasehold property owners. This initiative aims to simplify the process of converting leasehold properties into freehold, thereby providing property owners with greater security and ownership rights. The amnesty scheme is anticipated to generate substantial revenue for the DDA, which can be reinvested in infrastructure development and other public welfare projects.
