A delegation of concerned residents from Noida recently met with the city’s CEO to demand immediate attention to a growing list of civic problems that have significantly deteriorated their quality of life. The residents’ association presented a comprehensive overview of the issues plaguing the area, including rampant encroachments on public spaces, crippling traffic congestion, inadequate and erratic water supply, and the deteriorating state of infrastructure. These persistent challenges have led to widespread discontent among residents, who are demanding swift and effective solutions.
The delegation emphasized the urgent need for the Noida Authority to implement concrete action plans to address these pressing matters. Specific demands included the enforcement of strict regulations against unauthorized constructions, the development of efficient traffic management systems to alleviate congestion, ensuring a consistent and adequate water supply, and the timely repair and maintenance of public infrastructure.
