The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to reignite its efforts to acquire a substantial land bank of 6,317 hectares spread across 36 villages. This ambitious plan, initially conceived in 2012, was stalled due to various challenges, including farmer resistance and legal complexities. However, the authority is now determined to overcome these obstacles and revitalize the land acquisition process.
A comprehensive survey of the targeted land parcels is currently underway to assess the ground realities. Upon completion, YEIDA intends to embark on a series of development projects, encompassing residential, group housing, and infrastructure initiatives. To prevent unauthorized construction and encroachments, the authority will be installing protective measures such as fences and warning signs on the identified land.
By successfully executing this land acquisition drive, YEIDA aims to accelerate development in the region and establish a robust land bank to attract investments and facilitate future projects.
